The Pi method: from plastic waste to clean energy

Pi-energy: cleaning up what others leave behind

Pi-energy offers the method for environmentally friendly and complete processing of difficult-to-recycle plastics through THERMAL DECOMPOSITION.

The unique method we use for this has a number of major advantages over other techniques for processing plastic waste.

We only process hard-recyclable plastic and convert it into hydrogen and pure gas, which is stripped of all environmentally polluting additives that are often added to plastics. Consider, for example, flame retardants (halogens) in our electronic equipment.

We do not process plastic through a chemical process, but use thermal decomposition.

The processing process focuses on three energy sources that contribute to a clean, sustainable energy supply: hydrogen, green energy and green gas.

One kilo of plastic produces one cubic meter of gas. This makes it an efficient source of energy. So with 120,000,000 kilos of plastic we can produce 120,000,000 m³ of gas, enough for 100,000 households.
